Golf in Agadir
Agadir is closed to begin "The City of the
Golf" in Morocco.
With 300 days of sun by year and an exceptional climate, golf find
in Agadir his favorite place. A geographical situation and an ideal
climate, which guarantee cool temperatures all the year with a pleasant
freshness of the ocean, even in the heart of the summer.
Agadir, at the doors of Europe, offers ideal conditions
of sunshine and temperatures to practise this marvellous sport in
the middle of an accommodating nature. Sea, Sun & Golf: At only
3 hours flight from most of European capitals, Agadir, first sea
resort of Morocco, presents the whole year round a perfect temperate
climate with an average of 77°F in winter and 82° in summer,
so that you can enjoy golfing on one of the most interesting course
in Africa: the Golf du Soleil.
Beside beach and golf, Agadir also offers a large choice of activities
such as Thalassotherapy, Berber cultural treasures and wild landscapes.
For exceptional golf holidays, choose Agadir! |

Golf du Soleil
(27 hole, Par 18/72, 9/36 - 3.035m / 2.930m / 2.990m)
With a passionate and relaxing atmosphere, the Golf du Soleil
stands out by its subtle mix of Moroccan hospitality and golf etiquette.
Set in-between the Atlantic ocean and the Atlas Mountains,
the splendid Golf du Soleil appeals with rare combination of game
and sensations.
The technical diversity of the three courses demands
a wise choice of irons and woods. In the mean time, it offers a
wide scale of playing levels. Each course draws its own personality
from the lakes, bridges, waterfalls, bunkers, bushes and wide shady
fairways strewed all over the golf.

Golf Club Med Les Dunes
(3x9 hole, 18 hole, par 36 about 3000m)
Take a talented and imaginative designer, a superb stretch of rolling
land with abundant growths of eucalyptus punctuated by expanses
of water and you will obtain the magnificent Club Méditerranée
Dunes Golf Course. Cabell B.Robinson has incorporated a number of
remarkable surprises into these three nine hole par 36 courses.

Royal Golf d´ Agadir
(9 hole, Par 36, 2760m)
It all began when, in 1955, a certain Scottish golf enthusiast,
named Wilson, dug a hole in what was then only a field. A few years
later, another enthusiast, called Colonel Kamili, continued the
work. He designed the nine holes and their triangular setting bordered
with geraniums.
The Agadir Royal Golf Club is a par 36 course 3,600
meters long with fairways perfumed by pines, eucalyptus and mimosa,
fragrances that blend with the tang of the nearby ocean ... It is
a delightful course, but you must beware of the trees and the very
dense undergrowth. The greens are broad, well defended b deep bunkers
and groups of palm trees that close of the angles. The number three
hole is particularly challenging, its splendid 469 meters and par
5 requiring particular skill on the second shot, to overcome the
impressive water hazard.
After the game, players can meet and discuss their round in the
panoramic club house, practically buried in a cascade of Bougainville
area.
Take a talented and imaginative designer, a disciple
of Robert Trent Jones, a superb stretch of gently rolling land with
abundant growths of eucalyptus punctuated by expanses of water and
you will obtain the magnificent Club Méditerranée
Dunes Golf Course.
Cabell B. Robinson has incorporated a number of remarkable surprises
into these three nine hole par 36 courses. The Eucalyptus, the blue
course, is ideal for getting your hand in, but be careful! Hole
number 8 is a real gem. Its green suddenly comes into view on the
top of a hill surrounded by bunkers. Then, once the effort has been
made, comes the reward; a magnificent, uninterrupted view of Inezgane.

| Morocco: This
is very popular in Morocco, partly because King Hassan II was an
internationally ranked practitioner of the game. Some of the best-known
of the country's 16 golf courses are located at the Royal Dar es
Salaam Golf Club in Rabat, which has three courses and annually
hosts the internationally renowned Hassan II Trophy. Agadir has
three courses: the Agadir Royal Golf Club is a par 36 while the
beautiful Dunes Golf Club has three 9-hole par 36 courses (designed
by a disciple of Robert Trent Jones). The third course, set around
lakes, palm trees and eucalyptus, is the 5 star Golf du Soleil,
which is a 27-hole par 72.
